Crown of Glory Racing is pleased to announce its Charter Membership drive for those who cherish the idea of perpetuating the legacy of the legendary thoroughbred, Secretariat. The details of what started as a personal mercy mission in 2009 to save the life of a son of Hall of Fame Champion, Deputy Minister, will be revealed in a soon-to-be-published book titled, “The Story of Glory: the miracle birth of Secretariat’s grandson”. The four year-old colt I tried to save was also a 4th generation Secretariat descendant, which heavily influenced future breeding decisions.  Since that time, Crown of Glory Racing has grown from its inception to a prestigious group of thoroughbred racing stock comprised of three (soon to be four) foal crops sired by leading US and International Champions.  

The first to race, My Storm Trooper (a g-great grandson of Secretariat) broke (won) his maiden at Gulfstream Park, FL, and has since amassed a large world-wide following on facebook. The launch of his racing career has successfully blazed the trail for his stable mate, Secretariat’s Glory (a grandson) by Midnight Lute, whose impressive size and pedigree has also spiked global interest. And soon to follow the boys will be Mimi’s Dream by Harlington. She is the only one of the racing roster with no Secretariat bloodlines, but has a pedigree stacked with multiple graded-stakes winners from her dam, Dreamy Mimi, and her grand-dam, Serena’s Song. After a successful racing career, she will make a superb broodmare for our Secretariat descendant sires. God willing, all their racing careers will help lay the foundation to achieve our goal to “Keep The Secretariat Legend Alive”.

The membership program will offer the pride of sponsorship for helping to grow and nurture the Secretariat family tree. Your $100.00 lifetime Charter Membership will help sponsor six descendant's racing careers, along with the breeding program to produce future generations of Secretariat bloodlines. It’s all about keeping his legacy alive and giving his descendants the opportunity to succeed in doing what Secretariat loved to do best...to run like the wind.
